3 Anti-Fatigue Cocktails

    Today we're talking about non-alcoholic cocktails: cocktails that will keep you energized throughout the day! (And that way in the evening you can sip your little alcoholic cocktail while you're busy with all the work you've done).

    1) The Wakeup Water

    Make a pitcher every day containing:

    • 2 liters of water (to stay hydrated)
    • 180ml of cooked pearl barley (contains iron to combat fatigue)
    • 2 lemons (for antioxidants and vitamin C)
    • 70ml of agave syrup (to make it appetizing and sweet)

    Add the barley to the boiling water and let it soak for 10 minutes.

    Filter and remove the barley from the water.

    Add the juice of two lemons and the agave syrup.

    You can then transfer the drink into a heat -retaining water bottle and take it to work.

    2) Citrus Juice

    Citrus fruits are known to have a high vitamin C content, thus preventing deficiencies, which are most often responsible for severe fatigue.

    We therefore advise you to drink a glass of juice made with the following ingredients first thing in the morning :

    • 2 oranges
    • 4 clementines
    • 1 lemon
    • 1 carrot

    To do this, you simply need to blend all the ingredients until you obtain a smooth consistency.

    3) The Green Vegetable Cocktail

    Leafy green vegetables such as spinach, cabbage or lettuce are perfect for fighting off fatigue.

    For a truly invigorating drink, we suggest the following ingredients:

    • 2 kale leaves
    • 2 handfuls of spinach
    • 2 celery stalks
    • 1 green apple
    • ½ cucumber
    • ½ yellow lemon

    You can put all the ingredients in your blender and blend them. Add water if the mixture is too thick.

    Very rich in nutrients, in addition to giving you an energy boost, this cocktail offers a huge amount of vitamins that help make your brain perform better.
