Add the pineapple pieces directly to the mixture. Finally, add the sugar, mix, and refrigerate overnight.

Just before serving, add the ginger ale and rum. Serve over ice.

Note that you can use canned pineapple instead of fresh pineapple. Just be aware that canned pineapple will give the cocktail a sweeter taste, so you might want to use less sugar.

    Apple cider sangria

Deliciously autumnal, this magnificent sparkling apple cider sangria is refreshing and gently sweet.

cocktail based on white wine and cider

    • 6cl of ginger liqueur (you can make it at home)
    • 1 bottle of chilled white wine
    • 1 bottle of fresh apple cider

Dice the apples and place them in a punch bowl. Add the ginger liqueur and caramel vodka over them. Let this mixture sit for at least 20 minutes. (The longer the better; you can leave it for up to 40 minutes).

Add the bottle of white wine and the bottle of apple cider. Mix and serve.
